The Inventory Builder panels can be found on each property level. This is where you will create an inventory template that covers the communal areas of the property (kitchen, bathroom etc) or create a template for the individual rooms (bed space, desk space, wardrobes etc). The Inventory panels can be found on each tenancy.
Inventory Builder
Click ‘Add template’ to create a new inventory template.
Title: Here you can enter a title for the template.
Room: Here you can specify if the template is for a particular room.
When did you carry out this inventory?: Here you can enter a date or use the calendar to say when the Inventory was carried out.
Section title: Here you can enter a title for the section i.e., Kitchen, Bathroom etc.
Items: Here you can list the individual items you wish to add to the inventory template.
Condition: Here you can specify the condition of the item.
Description: Here you can enter some text to add a description to the item.
Photos: Here you can upload a JPG or PNG image of the item.
‘+ Item’: Will allow you to add additional items to the template.
‘+ 5 items’: Will allow you to add 5 items to the template.
‘+ Add images’: Will allow you to upload a JPG or PNG image.
‘+ Section’: Will allow you to add another section title and add further items to the section.
Click ‘Create’ to create the template or ‘Cancel’.
Click ‘View’ to view the template that has been created.
Update template: Allows you to edit and update the template created.
Download PDF: Allows you to download a PDF of the template.
Not using this template anymore?: Here you can archive the template if it is no longer required.
Inventory
The Inventory panel can be found on each tenancy.
Click ‘+ New inventory’ to add a new inventory to the tenancy.
Date completed: Here you can enter a date or use the calendar to enter a date the inventory was completed.
Notes: Here you can enter any additional notes in regards to the inventory.
From Inventory Template: Here you can select a template already created. If the template doesn't appear, first generate the file from the inventory builder.
Upload file(s) manually: Here you can choose to manually add your inventory template.
Send through COHO?:
Yes: Create a new conversation with you and the tenants(s) with the file attached. You can also retrieve a message template or create a message template. See also Message Templates.
No: Does not send the inventory template to any tenant(s) via COHO.
Click ‘Add’ or ‘Close’.
Go to conversation: Will take you to the Message Centre to view the conversation with the tenant in regards to the Inventory. See also 1. Message Centre.
Remove: Will remove the inventory from the tenancy.
View: Allows you to view the inventory.
Download: Allows you to download the inventory.
Past Inventories: Here you can view all past inventories that have been added to the tenancy.
+New inventory: Allows you to add a new inventory to the tenancy.
