Inspections are an important part of making sure risks can be minimized including fire, water damage and electrical malfunctions. It also gives tenants peace of mind that the property is being well looked after. Any maintenance issues that can be picked up sooner, potentially reduce costs later.
By keeping a record on COHO, you have access to all the information you need as well as Action reminders for when Inspections are approaching being due. See also Actions & Calendar.
It is important to understand that the Inspections panels in COHO are at three different levels.
Organisation Inspections panel:
This panel allows you to see all inspection dates across the whole portfolio. You can also filter by property and a date range.
From here you can ‘view’ the information recorded at property level.
Here, you can ‘view’, ‘download’ or ‘remove’ the document uploaded.
Property Inspection panels:
This panel allows you to ‘add new inspection information’. This information is viewable from the organisation Inspections panel. See also Organisation Inspections panel.
It is important to note that this Inspection record is in relation to the property only.
Add new Inspection
By clicking ‘add new inspection information’, you can enter the date completed as well as adding any notes and files.
Room Inspection panels
This panel allows you to ‘add new inspection information’. It is important to note that this Inspection record is in relation to the room only.
