A tenant has moved out but COHO is saying there is rent due, why?

Q. A tenant has moved out but COHO is saying there is rent due, why?
A. This is likely due to not updating the rent schedule when moving the tenant out on COHO.

Steps to resolve:
Use the search function on your account to navigate to the tenancy. Alternatively, you can click into the property, click into the room and scroll to 'Previous Tenancies' and open the previous tenancy.

Here we have a rent schedule with rent due lines but the tenant has moved out and we've terminated the tenancy on COHO.

From here, we will need to click 'view' next to each rent due record and 'delete' each rent record in turn.

Once all rent records have been deleted, the system will not show rent due records as overdue or due for the tenancy.

To stop this happening again, it's important to look at the fields when terminating a tenancy. See also - How to do I terminate a tenancy in COHO?
